01What to include
- your Chrome version (Chrome menu → Help → About Google Chrome) and your operating system;
- what you did, what you expected and what happened instead;
- a screenshot, if it helps. Remove any addresses or tag values you do not want to share.
02Quick answers
The panel shows no page address
Chrome gives the extension the address only after you invoke it on that tab. Click the Campaign URL Builder icon or press Option+Shift+U (Alt+Shift+U on Windows and Linux) on the page. After you switch tabs, the panel offers Use this tab or asks you to click the icon. You can also paste any http or https link into Page URL. To change the shortcut, open chrome://extensions/shortcuts.
My presets are not on my other computer
Presets, groups and Lowercase sync through your Chrome profile, so both computers need the same Chrome profile with sync turned on. Oversized items, full sync storage or unavailable sync can leave an edit only on this device, and another device may show an older copy. Recent values, your dictionary and local settings never sync. To move presets by hand, save them as a JSON file in the workspace tab and import that file on the other computer.
My tag values turned lowercase
Lowercase keeps the six standard UTM values consistent, so Newsletter and newsletter do not appear as two sources in your reports. Turn off the Lowercase switch in the header of the campaign link to keep the case as you typed it. Ad macros such as {campaignid} keep their case either way.
